because I said so

I tried to climb Koko Head.
Couldn't do it.
Not using my disability   disease  weakness  medical lack of awesomeness as an excuse. It's just that I'm a pantywaist.
Oh, and also that I was trying to accomodate a five year old up "Nature's Stairmaster".
He was excited to start.

We set off full of hope.

We made it this far (Step Railroad Tie 330'ish).

Jason made it up/down in record time. With a smile still on his face.

So, I made a goal. I will do this. I am not too weak. I can climb this bastard. I will go back (without the boy) and climb this badboy when Connie, my super athletic friend comes back to Hawaii for Christmas, get to the top, and send you a postcard.

There. I said it out loud. Now it must happen.
