And so it begins.
The destroying of the "old" to make way for the "new" (and improved).

Hello Old Kitchen (yes, that is actually a "kitchen") as seen yesterday (last night) with Jason so cheerfully posing for us.

goodbye ghetto.

goodbye funky faucet who I hate.

Hello random onion that was on the counter.

Goodbye Bowl I hand painted (sorry you had to go like this, thanks for taking one for the team).

Goodbye Cabinets. Hello Gavin.

Dude. Emi. Mail me the Facet. I will pay you for the shipping. :)
If anything ever happened to Jason's Marines career, rest assured he could replace Vanna.
LOVE that Gavin is all snuggled in a blanket.
something did happen to his Marines career, it never happened, but I'll keep that in mind if something happens to his COAST GUARD career.
and sorry, the faucet is gone, along with the cabinets. they all got hauled away to wherever trash goes on Oahu
I am so laughing at Cam right now. Marines. Ha ha.
Is the tile floor staying or going? Because I have an opinion about that. And have you picked out your new faucet yet? Because I have an opinion about that too? And are you getting new appliances? Because I have an......(I'm funny huh?)
Floor is staying. Faucet is picked (sink is stainless steel undermount..whoopee!) appliances are new(ish) replaced when we moved in. except the dishwasher, which is new.
Undermount stainless--way to go!
Why do I keep forgetting about your dishwasher that you've had in a box forever? My bad. Ok, what about backsplash? Still curious about that.
still curious about that too. I haven't decided on that. I thought I'd see the countertop in place before I make any final decisions
Ok. Just don't skimp. Mr. Backsplash can make or break a kitchen.
I'm sad to see that bowl broke. I think you made that when I came to visit you in Minnesota. I've still got mine in one piece. I'm just saying.
